As we sit on the cusp of spring, the return of the warmer weather is not the only thing you can look forward to. The first few months of the year always give us plenty of opportunities to celebrate and, at The Bowling Green, we’ve got lots to shout about. Across March and April, we’re getting in on the springtime celebrations with a whole host of things for you to enjoy.
St Patrick’s Day – 17th March
We’ve all got a little bit of Irish in us, or so most of us claim. But, regardless of your family heritage, pop in and see us this St Patrick’s Day to celebrate everything that’s great about the Emerald Isle. Live Music Friday – 20th March
The second of our Live Music Fridays will see the fantastic acoustic duo of Musstard take centre stage at The Bowling Green. A talented two-piece, which combines the talents of Matt Neal and Russ Tovey, Musstard specialise in covering a wide range of sing-along favourites, dating all the way back to the ‘50s. They’ll be performing from 8pm, so don’t be late!
Mother’s Day – 22nd March
Show Mum how much you care this Mother’s Day by booking in for an exquisite meal at The Bowling Green. On Mothering Sunday, we’ll be serving up a selection of tasty dishes, with the option to take advantage of three delicious courses. With four sittings throughout the day, and tables much in demand, booking is essential to avoid disappointment. The full menu can be found on our website.
Easter Sunday – 12th April
Just because it’s Easter Sunday, that doesn’t mean that we won’t still be serving our famous Sunday Roast! Make sure you leave some room after scoffing down all of your chocolate eggs and book a table to celebrate Easter in the best way possible: with a freshly cooked roast dinner comprised of delicious roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a choice of hand-carved meat. Options are available to suit all dietary needs, but once again, booking is advised to make sure you definitely secure a table.
The Green Room – Available All Year
If you’re searching for a private function room to hire, look no further than The Bowling Green. The Green Room is available to book out all year round. Whether you’re looking to celebrate a wedding, birthday, baby shower or any other significant occasion, The Green Room is the perfect space in which to enjoy some privacy and make the most of our dining options, with a buffet or more formal meal options available.
